Poor Farm Road Loop

And today was the season's first Poor Farm Road Loop run, a 6(ish)-mile jaunt starting at my house, winding on and off the Colchester bike path and ending up back at my house.

I ran today with [info]beagley, [info]silverhill's mom, Sherry, and Jim. My mother-in-law is a marathoner and in training for an Iron Man Triathlon, and Jim is training for this year's Vermont City Marathon. So they ran 12 and 15 miles, respectively, by doing the Loop twice (and then some for Jim). I ran along with them for the first loop, my first time on this course this running season after a number of times last year.

Here are my splits:

To ...
end of bike path: 11:23.26
Blakely Road: 10:35.25 (21:58.51)
Poor Farm Road: 13:01.64 (35:00.15)
U.S. 7: 9:53.98 (44:54.13)
Bay Road: 4:28.12 (49:22.25)
Home: 7:43.50 (57:05.75)

Maybe I'm just a geek for running and numbers, but I was fascinated just now comparing these splits with these.

You forgot to post anything about MY running, so I will fill in the details for those reading these comments. Here is the rest of what Adam intended to say:

"[info]beagley decided we were all running too slowly and finished the full lap in about 48 minutes. He then decided to really take out the Pb and increased his pace. He lapped Jim and Sherry at about 80 minutes and finished with a sprint that caused the doors to blow off their hinges along the road. "

Boo yaa!
